Entrance exam will be conducted online with objective Multiple choice questions that must be completed within 3 hours (180 minutes). It consists of 100 questions, offering 1 mark for each question with no negative marking in both Hindi and English.

IGNOU PhD Fee structure

The Doctor of Philosophy programme fee structure at IGNOU may vary depending upon the specialization that students opt out of those 30+ specializations.

• For a three-year programme the cost of the fees are somewhere around INR 17,850.
• In case a student is pursuing the doctoral degree program without coursework then the annual fee would be INR 8,400. 
• The average annual IGNOU PhD course fee ranges between INR 8,400 to INR 9,450.
• IGNOU PhD registration fee is INR 1000 and INR 800 for reserved category.
• Students can make the payment by using credit cards and debit cards, Internet Banking, and UPI.

3. You will be directed to a new page where you need to enter your credentials.
