These UG courses are available in two mediums, distance learning and online, with a course duration of 3-4 years and annual semesters. Every applicant must have completed their higher studies or 10+2 from any recognised senior secondary school affiliated with any private or government institution with a minimum of 50% in all subjects.
IGNOU offers more than 150 UG courses in various disciplines, including science and technology, business and management, Arts and Humanities, Education, computer applications, communication and languages, etc. Here are some of the popular IGNOU UG courses BA, BSc, BCom, BBA, BCA, BEd, and Btech. IGNOU PG Admission 2026-27
IGNOU PG Admission 2026-27 January Session has been started. The admission application procedure is simple: visit the online Portal at www.ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in. MSc, MA, MCom, MCA, MSW, and MBA are some of the most pursued PG courses through distance learning mediums, with a completion tenure of 2 years (maximum 4 years). However, the Master of Library and Information Sciences can be completed in a year.
IGNOU PG Admission 2026-27 intakes are taken solely on merit through IGNOU’s entrance tests for postgraduate courses and Master’s programs. Students are required to appear for an interview session after the first round of the entrance test is to be finally accepted for the course.
IGNOU MA Admission 2026-27
Admission sessions in Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) for the UG and PG courses will begin in mid-January and July 2026. IGNOU offers MA in 25 disciplines, including economics, psychology, Mass communication and journalism, politics, English, Hindi, Sanskrit, tourism, and sociology.
