Aikyashree Scholarship 2026-27: Aikyashree scholarship is a monetary support program launched by the West Bengal Government to help West Bengal students from unprivileged lower middle-class backgrounds and minorities complete their secondary and higher secondary education. There are multiple different categories of scholarships offered for different academic groups of students including; Pre-matric scholarships, post-matric scholarships, Merit-cum means scholarships and Talent support programs (TSP). However, the applications for the Aikyashree scholarship 2026-27 are still open, you can apply before 31 March 2026.

• The application window for the Aikyashree Scholarship 2024–25 has been reopened only for renewal applications under the SVMCM schemes and will remain open until further notice.

Aikyashree Scholarship 2026-27

The Aikyashree Scholarship is a financial assistance program launched by the West Bengal Minority Development and Finance Corporation (WBMDFC) to support students from minority communities in the state. Aikyashree scholarship 2026-27 can be categorised into the following types as per the student’s educational background:

1. Pre-matric scholarship: Students from class 1 to 10 (West Bengal) with an annual family income of less than 2 Lakhs.
2. Post-matric Scholarship: For Class 11 (12th, UG, PG, PhD, etc) and above students with a family income of less than 2 Lakhs.
3. Merit-cum means scholarship: For Technical and professional courses such as Engineering, medical and Law, etc. Family income should not exceed ₹250,000. Students receive up to ₹35,000 annually for tuition fees and other expenses. 
4. SVMCM 4.2: WB students from reserved categories having minimum 60% marks in the previous year and family income not more than ₹250,000. UG students get up to ₹5000/month and ₹8000/month for PG students.
